The Role


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payments Account Manager to strengthen our Payments team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the iGaming ecosystem and appreciates how critical smooth, reliable payment flows are to both clients and end users. As a Payments Account Manager, you will take ownership of payment method onboarding for our clients, act as a key point of contact for payment-related communication, and ensure transactions run efficiently across multiple providers. You will play a central role in connecting our internal payments team with external PSPs, resolving issues quickly and maintaining strong operational relationships.

The iGaming payments landscape is dynamic, highly regulated, and constantly evolving. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining compliance, security, and performance standards. You will work closely with internal teams including development, compliance, product, and customer support, while also liaising directly with clients and payment providers. This position offers real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to meaningfully improve our payment operations. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor payment transactions to ensure accuracy, performance, and stability across all supported payment methods.
  • Manage the onboarding of new payment methods for clients, coordinating between internal teams and external payment providers.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding payment-related matters, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Serve as a bridge between the payments team and PSPs, facilitating smooth integrations and ongoing collaboration.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve payment issues to minimize operational or client impact.
  • Support the payments team with day-to-day operational tasks and initiatives.
  • Respond to brand owners and internal stakeholders regarding payment performance and issues.
  • Continuously review and improve payment workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Analyze transaction data and prepare reports to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support strategic decisions with data-driven insights related to payment performance.
  • Ensure payment systems meet security, reliability, and compliance requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to payment processing and integrations.
  • Collaborate with compliance, development, product, marketing, and customer support teams to align payment operations with business objectives.


Essential Qualifications & Experience:


  • Solid understanding of payment systems, PSPs, and payment flows within iGaming or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant payment regulations, compliance standards, and risk considerations.
  • Prior experience in the iGaming industry.
  • Experience working with in-house or proprietary payment platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing and interpreting transaction and performance data.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, particularly in technical or operational payment issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in working directly with clients and external partners.
