About this role

The Senior Facilities Associate is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all users.

Requirements:

  • General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and setup of facilities for events.
  • Room Setup and Teardown: Prepare rooms for meetings and events, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all areas, icommon areas, and workspaces. This includes checking supplies and disposing of waste.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for staff and customers to ensure that facility needs are met and to address any issues that arise.
  • Physical Tasks: Lift and move equipment and furniture, often requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years Facilities services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.
  • 1-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
