Job Title: Lead Manager Integration Delivery

Role Overview
The SAP & Integration platform acts as a central hub, connecting various applications, systems, and data sources within as well as external to TMICC, allowing them to communicate and exchange information seamlessly and securely, to streamline data flow and automate processes. Scope of the Role
To play a critical role in overseeing and leading the integration migration efforts for the Integration Simplification project wherein multiple discrete integration technologies are being migrated into one common integration technology within SAP BTP Platform. Will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful migration of systems, applications, or platforms. Bring strategic expertise, leadership skills, and technical knowledge to drive the project and achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers the following areas of activities:
Project Delivery related activities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan and strategy for the integration migration.
- Define project goals, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Allocate resources, create timelines, and manage dependencies.
- Managing minor enhancements, medium to large projects or part of bigger programmes that affect the other specific processes/technology areas.
- Supporting the IT strategy & roadmap design for digital platform applications working very closely with the Enterprise Architecture Teams
- Proposing the priority and sequence of changes linked to specific releases and working with the Release Management organisation to agree these.
- Managing & Tracking project delivery costs and X charging, Timesheet reviews, Vendor contracts, people management etc
- Budget management and tracking spends.
- Hold vendors accountable for project deliverables, weekly governances to track KPI’s
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget with zero disruption to business
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Provide regular updates, manage communication, and address any issues or conflicts.
- Governance connects with finance stakeholders
Integration Architecture and Solution Design:
- Lead the design and development of the integration architecture for the migration project.
- Evaluate existing systems and applications to identify integration requirements and challenges.
- Define a scalable, secure, and efficient integration solution to meet business objectives.
BTP Platform CTF:
- Serve as the SAP BTP Integration Suite Product Owner, defining the roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Co innvate with SAP to bring Unilever requirements to produc roadmap.
- Oversee and plan the implementation of patches, new updates and ensure minimum impact to business.
- Act as the primary technology authority for enterprise integration, driving architectural decisions and technical standards.
- Implement CI/CD pipeline for Devops.
Technical Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the project team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure the team has the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver on project objectives.
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop a change management plan to address the impact of integration migration on the key business projects and other platform projects in pipeline.
- Engage stakeholders, communicate changes, and manage expectations.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify and assess potential risks and issues related to the project.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Proactively address issues, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions to keep the project on track.
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, or partners involved in the project.
- Manage relationships, contracts, and deliverables with external parties.
- Ensure effective coordination and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that the integration migration project complies with security and compliance standards.
- Implement appropriate security measures to protect data privacy and prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with security teams to address any vulnerabilities or risks.
PLATFORM RESILIENCE:
• Ensure the resilience and stability of the integration platform with composite uptime of 99.99%.
• Develop strategies to stabilize operations and transition from a reactive to a proactive team.
• Remove technical debt and bring continuous improvements to the integration platform.
• Setup end to end observability, alerting and monitoring of the platform.
• Identify and oversee continuous improvement initiatives
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create/Maintain comprehensive documentation of the integration migration project, including design decisions, platform alignments, architecture diagrams, data mappings, and configuration settings etc.
- Prepare regular progress reports and project status updates for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
Non-project related activities:
In addition to the scope set out above, the delivery lead will be expected to:
- Develop a good understanding of future technology and architecture directions, including the opportunities for new functionality and reduced TCO created by these
- Developing and driving knowledge of end-to-end business processes and their likely evolution
- Generating and driving ideas for continuous improvement, simplification and reduced TCO in the existing system landscape
- Working with product vendors to identify product gaps and co-innovate new features and bug fixes for integration platform.
- Developing relationships, with key stakeholders in the BP, Service, Key business owners, with strategic suppliers and 3rd party IT service providers to help both drive and share the knowledge base.
- Mentor & coach team members & direct reportees.
Qualifications & Skills
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise integration, with at least 3 years of experience in B2B space.
- Proven experience managing SAP BTP Integration Suite or similar enterprise integration platforms.
- Strong background in delivering large-scale integration projects in complex, global environments.
- Experience in people management, including performance reviews and career development planning.
Key Skills:
- Familiar with integration applications such as SAP BTP Cloud Integration, MuleSoft, Boomi, SAP PI, SAP BODS, ETL etc.
- Hands-on experience on SAP BTP Cloud Integration Platform
- Good understanding of API driven and event led architecture
- Expert in EDI standards such as EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOMS, GS1, etc
- Expertise in different communication methodologies such as AS2, HTTPs, REST, ODATA, etc
- Should have worked on B2B processes and have a good functional knowledge of the O2C space
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical oversight.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and resilience principles in enterprise
- Communication/Negotiation: Teamwork and Guide other professionals. Adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.
