Job Summary

The Establishment team is responsible for designing, setting up, and implementing the structure and capabilities required to enable The Magnum Ice Cream Company to operate as a fully functioning standalone company.

This role will be to assist the budget controllers in managing the project budgets related to establishment spend. The successful candidate will bring finance expertise, attention to detail, analytical skills, and a passion for financial management.

Key Responsibilities

As Assistant Establishment Budget Controller, you will:

• Support the budget controller in understanding each function’s budgetary needs (people and non-people) and drive accurate forecasting.
• Assist in setting up the cost centre hierarchy and mapping for establishment spends.
• Help design, set up, and maintain a budget tracking tool (PowerBI).
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to provide timely financial and performance updates.
• Ensure costs are correctly allocated and reported.
• Prepare decks for monthly governance meetings with key stakeholders.
• Act as the first point of contact for routine queries on establishment cost processes (PO creation, PO tracking, Capex requests, Cost deep dives etc.).

Experience & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Power BI is a plus
• Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
