In the role as a Sr. Software Engineer, you will work on developing solutions for this area. A huge part is analyzing, scoping and communicating about the best solution for the particular use case.
Ensure our LEGO® bricks and moulding processes can keep up with innovation, so that we can continue to provide kids with fun play around the world.

Design, build, and configure end-to-end applications through close collaboration with product team members
Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy, following LEGO Group principles from ideation to production and beyond
Implement modern design patterns and architectural principles that ensure scalability and quality
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, adhering to LEGO® engineering standards
Ensure product robustness and reliability through unit and integration testing
Drive automation to improve operational efficiency and streamline daily tasks
Challenge ideas and propose better solutions to build the most efficient, reliable systems possible
Contribute to product roadmaps by suggesting and defining future stories with the Product Manager
This part of the Digital Technology organization primarily supports the Engineering and Manufacturing areas of the LEGO Group with digital solutions.
The Product Engineering Technology department provides solutions and technology for the engineering areas of the LEGO Group. We support from design to produced elements with areas like Element Design, Mould design, Mould production, Quality and Moulding in the factories. This includes Masterdata, Project portfolio, Materials area, and the Sustainable Materials agenda.
Skilled SAP engineer ready to tackle a wide variety of tasks — including work beyond SAP technologies.
Several years’ experience with modern SAP ABAP – or eagerness to learn it.
Knowledge of SAP BTP, RAP, and Steampunk — or eagerness to learn them.
Knowledge and ideally hands-on experience with modern S/4HANA ABAP development.

Committed to delivering sustainable, high-quality solutions, always considering performance and security
Playful, dedicated, and proactive in contributing to team success
Experience working in an agile development team
Experience delivering solutions that support core business processes
Hands-on experience of ABAPGit for modern S/4HANA and BTP-based ABAP development workflows
Exposure to cloud platforms or non-SAP technologies (AWS, Node.js, Python, TypeScript) and integrating them with S/4HANA or BTP
General familiarity with UI technologies (e.g., SAP Fiori Elements) — helpful but not required
Experience with container technologies like Docker and/or Kubernetes
Experience with AWS or Azure implementations
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
