As a Production Planner, your primary responsibility is to ensure the right production priorities within the R&D Processing Test Center. You will coordinate with Product & Marketing, Design, Processing Novelty Development, and other internal partners. Your role will include:
Manage short-term order inflow and establish a balanced capacity and demand for novelty decorations and equipment.
Ensure strong communication and collaboration between the Processing Planning Department and the R&D Test Center.
Drive collaboration and secure efficient interfaces with key Engineering value chains—especially Graphical Design, Global Planning, local planning, and local Production NPI organizations—from a planning perspective.
Monitor and report on value chain performance by establishing a robust performance management structure. Act as the owner of the Local Planning Board and ensure updated production master data linked to planning processes (test cycle time, loops, lead times per test, etc.).
Support and occasionally lead improvement activities to reduce lead time and/or cost, enhance plan adherence, and improve the effectiveness of the value chain.
Assist in establishing and developing planning principles and operating methods to continuously improve the performance of the processing novelty value chain (lead time, plan adherence, and efficiency).
You will join the R&D Processing Test Center in Billund, we play a vital role in enabling a fast and reliable introduction of new deco- and processing equipment that enhance and enrich LEGO play, by offering differentiation to the LEGO brick.
We are a part of Global Production foundation, which strives to define the foundations for our production processes within Processing.
The team consists of skilled Technicians in a R&D decoration test area where you will work in a technical area that includes the preparation areas, performance of test, and evaluation of the test results. The area works in a fast test environment with multiple tests running every day and work that need to be prioritized and planned daily.
Do you have what it takes?
To succeed in this position, we imagine you have experience with planning product or equipment development processes in manufacturing setup. You also have excellent communication skills to cooperate between different organizational levels and diverse cultures.
As a person, you are a responsible collaborator with excellent coordination skills and a structured approach to task execution. You are curious and eager to learn and have a problem-solving outlook. In addition, you have:
Strong understanding of operations management and operating principles.
Advanced user of Excel, SharePoint, and a general flair for IT systems.
Experience in using ERP planning systems.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI / BI-reports, Project Management, and an understanding of manufacturing processes is an advantage.
Proficiency in Danish and English both written and spoken.
