Preschool Teacher
The Learning Experience – Jenison
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
The Learning Experience – Jenison is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning while preparing them for kindergarten.
You will be part of a supportive, team-oriented school that values quality, consistency, and strong relationships with families.
What You’ll Do
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging preschool classroom environment
- Plan and carry out developmentally appropriate activities using our L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support children’s social, emotional, and early academic development
- Observe and document progress and milestones
- Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and student progress
- Work closely with your teaching team and leadership to maintain high standards of care and education

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in a preschool, childcare, or early learning setting preferred
- ECE coursework or degree is a plus
- Must meet Michigan state licensing requirements
- Dependable, positive, and passionate about working with young children

The Learning Experience - Jenison is located across the street from the Georgetown Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Our state-of-the-art daycare and preschool center opened in June of 2022. We make early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children! Since 2002, The Learning Experience has been positively impacting the lives of children ages six weeks to six years by developing and implementing ground-breaking childcare and early education programs. Our proprietary curriculum encourages children to learn in their favorite way: by exploring and doing. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers.
