Primal Kitchen is seeking a hands-on, analytical, and creative Paid Media Manager to lead full funnel paid campaigns across digital, social, and traditional media. This role will manage in-house execution across platforms like Meta, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, CTV, OLV, and emerging channels, while also supporting Retail Media Network (RMN) campaigns in partnership with the Omni team.
You’ll work closely with the creative team to ensure our media approach authentically represents our clean-eating mission while managing the day-to-day hands-on keyboard of our media investments by translating real-time data into media strategies that build brand awareness, grow household penetration, and drive measurable business impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy, Planning & Channel Execution
Execute Primal Kitchen’s full-funnel paid media campaigns across digital, social, CTV, and traditional channels to drive brand growth and household penetration.
Translate business needs into media plans that balance brand awareness, new customer acquisition, and efficiency.
Manage day-to-day hands-on-keyboard execution across platforms including Meta, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and more.
Optimize campaigns in real time to improve key performance indicators such as ROAS, CPM, CTR, CPC, and CAC.
Plan and execute paid campaigns within Retail Media Networks (such as Amazon, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and Instacart, including sponsored search) in partnership with the Omni team.
Collaborate on media strategies that complement in-store activations, promotions, or joint business plans with retail partners.
Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal creative and influencer teams to develop and optimize content that reflects current trends, consumer behavior, and performance insights.
Provide creative briefs and feedback informed by real-time data, including engagement rate, completion, and click-through rate.
Collaborate with brand and comms teams to ensure messaging and media strategies are aligned across all channels.
Work closely with the influencer team to support whitelisting and Spark Ads where applicable.
Manage day-to-day relationships with platform reps (Meta, Google, Pinterest, Amazon, etc.) to stay ahead of best practices, unlock betas, and test new media formats.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Own media reporting dashboards using GA4, Triple Whale, and native platform tools.
Monitor spend pacing, performance trends, and attribution to inform cross-functional decisions and campaign pivots.
Provide regular reporting, learnings, and actionable insights to the Head of Media.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of platform advertising management in Meta, Google, Pinterest
Knowledge of platform advertising management in retail tools directly or a paid media management aggregation tool like Skai or Pacvue
Experience analyzing paid media campaigns and reporting to head of media, senior leadership in Primal Kitchen and broader internal and external stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in paid media planning and buying, preferably in the CPG or natural foods industry
Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign measurement and optimization
Proficiency with digital media platforms and analytics tools
Experience managing agency relationships and vendor partnerships
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for natural foods and clean eating

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$104,200.00 - $130,200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
