Job Overview: This position is responsible for the management of all Raw Dairy Ingredients including milk, cream, CMF, Sweet Whey, WPC, Concentrated Permeate, UF milk, and other associated products. The position will work with Dairy Procurement and other Kraft Heinz plants to manage dairy ingredients in a cost effective and efficient manner. This position will work with the Lowville Producers and any vendors associated with the management or transportation of any ingredient either inbound or outbound from the Kraft Heinz Lowville Plant. Must effectively communicate and work with plant supervision, management, scheduling, and processing departments.
Preferred Background:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) including Dairy.com and SAP. This role requires a high level of computer usage and understanding. Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent interpersonal skills, clear oral and written communication skills, manufacturing and/or supply chain knowledge. Must be comfortable working in a challenging and flexible environment with expected overtime. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and proficiency in math. This position requires the ability to communicate, self-manage, and prioritize effectively.
Sanitation: Will ensure that the equipment and machinery he/she works with is cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of employment and during refresher sessions.
Quality Assurance: Ensures all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function.
Safety: Will follow instructions delivered during the training that explained the fundamentals of the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep himself/herself and others away from harm while performing his/her duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.
Work on all shifts expected, Weekend and Holiday work will be required. Schedule is based on a 7 day/week production; therefore, workdays may fluctuate from week to week based on production.
