This position works side by side with the business or end user throughout the implementation process. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and deploy solutions.
Responsibilities
Implement complex new products and services for the business
Analyze requirements and gather requirements needed for implementation. Understand current processes utilized by end users
Design and document to be process for end user
Assess and document requirements while adhering to established procedures
Demonstration and training on new products and services for the business. May provide support for a period of time
Verify solution is performing as expected after implementation
Utilize details provided to establish specific information needed for end solution. Coordinates data for validation in testing environments
Conducts testing to verify solution is working as expected
Works on multiple items/projects simultaneously.
Escalates challenges and issues in timely manner. Ensures positive outcome for business
Work as key member of project teams
Effectively communicate and collaborate with project team members as well as business or end users
Create training materials for new solutions
Troubleshoot and support implemented solutions
Serve as product expert for different systems in portfolio.
Collaborate with different team and department members in analyzing solutions/features
Create needed test scripts for testing of new application/product.
Pursue training of new technologies that will be utilized by the company
Ability to run small initiatives with minimal assistance
QualificationsFormal Education & Certification
4-year College or University degree required or at least 4 years’ experience in industry or similar field in lieu of degree
Degree in the field of computer science, management information systems, supply chain, business management preferred
Knowledge & Experience (at least 2 years with each of the following)(can be concurrently)
Experience in the operation and analysis of software systems and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies
Extensive experience with core software applications
Working technical knowledge of SQL (Preferred)
Previous training experience
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
Prior transportation experience (Preferred)
