Purpose of Role
Drive PE curriculum goals by guiding PE teachers, overseeing programme implementation, and ensuring structured planners for each grade and sport. Manage PE operations, student support, and staff/resources so that classes, events, and competitions run smoothly, safely, and in line with the school’s ethos and performance expectations.

Role Definition
A frontline Leader for the PE programs with the responsibility of driving the Academic Goals to the students and taking care of their co-curricular aspirations and needs.

Tasks & Activities
Delivering the Curriculum In charge of curriculum implementation as per directions of the Principals and PE coordinator. Understand the devised curriculum and the academic goals along with PE coordinator. Convert or cascade the same to practical actionable items for the teachers to deliver. Ensure yearly planners and monthly planners are for each grade and each sport. Develop, clear, teacher specific academic goals for teachers and provide support to them with necessary resource materials and guidance in achieving these goals. Conduct regular collaborative meetings, stay backs to monitor and ascertain the progress made and guide the teachers who need help with the help of Principals. Actively contribute to the Curriculum planning by gathering intelligence and feedbacks and create a database and evidences that will help support to provide a feedback to the PE coordinator in designing and implementing a relevant, challenging and rigorous curriculum. Operational In-charge Assist Principal in preparing the school dairy events, holidays, teacher records, report cards and other academic records. Ensure the school happenings are in progress as per the rules laid down and report to the Principal on regular basis. Ensuring that the campus language, disciplinary policy, culture, and ethos are followed. Supporting the STUDENTS Being accountable for the academic, social and emotional well‐being of children under your purview Track student progress, set systems in place to identify the gaps and provide a support. Ensure each child is given attention and given equal opportunity to perform. Encourage students to give feedback on their academic needs and try to support it with the help the teacher.
People Management & Resource Management
Assist the PE coordinator in recruiting and training the faculty Always ensure the team is always up-to-date, trained and working at optimal level. Ensure that the resources and facilities provided by the school are used and not lying ideal. Also make suggestion to the PE coordinator in case of any resource need. Ensure care and respect in using and maintaining these resources. Safety, health and hygiene of staffs and students are prime importance. Always be on looking for factor disturbing these and take or provide assistance to Facility /Admin Department in clearing the disturbances.
