Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Job

• Be accountable for the production of deliverables within the agreed timescale, quality, and budget
• Facilitate all Scrum events, ensuring they are productive and adhere to time constraints
• Support the Product Owners and Scrum teams in maintaining a healthy backlog for current and upcoming sprints
• Remove impediments for the Scrum team to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor and track project risks, issues, and dependencies, reporting regularly to stakeholders
• Ensure quality controls and appropriate standards are integrated into the project plan
• Identify and manage relationships through effective communication with all stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact
• Prepare and support various planning sessions, including Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives

About You

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Scrum Master Certification (e.g., Scale Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
• Agile Scrum Manager certification preferred, with Leading SAFe - Scaled Agile certification as a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading Scrum Teams in an IT environment
• Experience in working with offshore development centres is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Coaching experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
