Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement.  With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.

The Job

• Leads projects of Racing Live and video programme production
• Generates original, creative and engaging contents for programme production projects
• Support on course Race Day operation duties, handle pre-race day preparation and perform on-day check
• Performs Video Editing, Graphics Support and Field Shooting for Racing videos & Promos
• Takes responsibility for creative planning and arrangement of the pre- and post-production workflow
• Support live operations and event organization.
• Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
• Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communication, Languages, Advertising, Multi-Media & Video Production or related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ copy-writing experience with advertising agency
• Experience in live broadcast operations preferred
• Proficiency in Avid, Premiere-Pro, After Effect, and Photoshop
• Good sense of trends and initiative to stay up to date, be self-motivated, proactive
• Good communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work long and irregular hours
• Knowledge and interest in horse racing an advantage
