About this role

 

Job Summary

 

Receives, verifies, and records incoming materials and supplies and performs a variety of routine clerical duties to support Warehouse operations.

 

Must be forklift certified. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM at our warehouse located at 8990 S Kyrene Rd, Tempe AZ. Pay will start at $17 an hour. 

 

 

 

Essential Job Functions *

  • Performs daily invoicing and tracking of customer orders, communicating between sales staff and customer service.
  • Records shipment details in the ‘Manual Receiving Log.’ and enters packing slip data into the computer.
  • Prepares and applies identification labels to goods.
  • Generates and prints work orders for raw goods.
  • Reviews and reconciles daily receipts.
  • Creates and maintains necessary reports, spreadsheets, files and correspondence, including Argent software.
  • Handles the overflow from the receiving operation and the production reporting process.
  • Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic problems. Reports complex problems to Supervisor.

Education & Experience

 

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Strong PC skills, including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Able to work accurately with numbers.
  • Able to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and vendors and deal tactfully with the public.
  • Good organization skills; able to prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment

Shipping/Receiving: Fast-paced, standing on concrete floors up to 10 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Shipping/Receiving: Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs.
