Job Summary

Primarily responsible for preparing items to be processed in a manufacturing environment using intermediately complex equipment, tools, or processes.  Requires maintaining established productivity and accuracy standards. 

Essential Job Functions *

• Prepares Items for Processing by being responsible for receipt inspection and preparation of parts to be processed and ensuring assigned equipment is in good working condition.
• Production Work.  Activities could include all items listed in Production Worker II and III plus: applying paint to raw materials and/or cleaning up of paint residue and applicators.
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to supervisor.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to complete tasks without waste.
• Ensures Quality by conducting multiple spot checks during the workday to ensure products meet established standards; and maintains a log of items identified as out of tolerance with established standards.
• Ensures Safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment, follows safety policies and procedures, and reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read and follow documented instructions in English or Spanish.
