From high-profile events to daily family games, our staff serves up a dose of fun with every meal. As we like to say, come for the food, and stay for the family friendly fun! The MC is the Voice and the Heartbeat of the Hangout. They are in the spotlight and interacting with guests on a daily basis.

Duties & Responsibilities: The MC will be responsible for doing at least 4 "sets" a night but could go upwards of 8 per day depending on start time. They should have the ability to read a crowd, know their audience and communicate with the Music Specialist and Party Motivators to keep the flow of the set going. MC’s will work with the bands and sound engineer on a daily basis and coordinate with management and staff to create the ultimate dining experience. They need to have great communication skills and will meet with Hangout managers regularly to take care of special situations and events as they come up.

• Exhibits Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Thinking Quickly On Their Feet
• Delivers Excellent Customer Service Able To Set Up Basic Audio & Lighting At Events Able To Connect With & Motivate Young Kids
• Not Afraid To Engage Adults At Events
• Not Afraid To Tackle New/Difficult Situations
• Ability To Operate In Highly Stressful Situations
• Ability To Operate An IPad/Tablet
• Enjoys Dancing And Encouraging Others To Dance

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Familiarity with all genres of music
• Ability to learn any important contextual information appropriate to the organization.
• Prior experience in cruise ship entertainment
