Job Title: Direct Support Professional– Cove Center

Schedule: 1st & 2nd shift

Overview of the Cove Center
The Cove Center, a division of the Groden Network, serves adults in Rhode Island with autism and developmental disabilities, offering on-going education, experiences and a supportive staff that emphasizes the individuals’ role in making choices; thereby giving them the greatest control of the direction of their own life.

General Position Description:
Plan and implement behavioral and skill area program plans within a daily schedule in a residential program; employ physical intervention as necessary; promote health and safety while encouraging skill development and independence; data collection; report writing and analysis; upkeep and cleaning of household.


Education, Experience and Special Skills:

1.    High School diploma

2. 2+ years of professional experience with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is required.

3.    First Aid/CPR preferred.

4.    Able to perform emergency restraint procedures as needed.

5.    Must have valid driver’s license and insured auto.
