About this role

As a Tire Engineer you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing process and product quality by learning and applying appropriate Goodyear standards and procedures to solve problems.  The incumbent understands and can apply standard tools to improve customer satisfaction and process capability. If you are passionate about engineering, this role is perfect for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve and enhance technical solutions to meet product requirements. 

  • Work on cross-functional teams to develop new technology.  Avoid inappropriate level of risk.

  • Demonstrate ability to present technical ideas to others across teams.

  • Drive new product concepts, processes, and technologies leading to innovations.

  • Recognize and identify problems. Improve and enhance problem solving strategies.

  • Improve and enhance project management tools and standards of execution for assigned projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Math. Due to legal requirements Latin America candidates must possess Engineering Degree.

  • 2 or more years' experience required.

  • Experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Experience or certifications in the application of Quality control systems, problem solving and project management tools is desired.
