As a Quality Engineer, you will support manufacturing processes and product quality by applying Goodyear standards and tools to solve problems and drive continuous improvement. Your work ensures high-quality products, optimizes production processes, and enhances customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Apply quality engineering tools to improve process and product performance

  • Support implementation of new products, processes, and technologies while ensuring compliance with specifications

  • Lead process improvement initiatives and contribute to plant optimization projects

  • Track and report process performance indicators, identifying opportunities for corrective action

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and implement innovative solutions

  • Develop and maintain product and process technical documentation to meet internal and external requirements

  • Audit compliance and support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation


What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

  • VI/VII degree in Technical, Chemical, or Engineering discipline

  • Prior exposure to manufacturing quality systems and product compliance standards

  • Knowledge of root-cause analysis methods in industrial or automotive production environments

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Advanced English language skills

  • Team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management and quality tools (A3, DMAIC, MiniTab, BrainCube)

  • Familiarity with new product development and cross-functional collaboration

  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)

  • Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively across teams
