At our Innovation Center in Luxembourg, the Global Performance team shapes the next generation of Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming advanced concepts into industrialized products that meet the highest standards of performance, quality, and time-to-market. Your expertise will directly influence product competitiveness, innovation capabilities, and the continuous improvement of our development processes worldwide.

What will you do

  • Lead tire carcass development activities for UHP product development and industrialization, from concept to release
  • Ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and timing targets
  • Contribute construction expertise to innovative technology projects, enabling new guidelines and know-how
  • Support functional projects to improve tools, processes, and development standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to enhance product performance
  • Drive continuous improvement through rigorous engineering and problem-solving approaches

What you will bring

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • First professional experience in product and/or technology development as an asset
  • Strong interest in the tire business or automotive industry
  • Solid communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in English (French and/or German is a plus)
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and ownership
  • High level of rigor with a strong focus on quality and results
  • Experience or exposure to CAD/CAM tools (Catia V5 preferred), with Finite Element Modeling and statistical tools as added assets
