As a Financial Analyst, you will be critical in providing clear, accurate information to manage and analyze a segment of the business. You will ensure all financial activities align with accounting principles, government regulations, and company policies. This role drives timely and precise closing, accounting, consolidation, and reporting processes. Your work will support leadership decision‑making and help maintain strong financial governance across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and P&L/balance sheet analysis.
- Apply US GAAP and relevant accounting standards (IAS/IFRS) to classify, record, and review financial transactions, exercising sound judgment on complex items.
- Develop and maintain financial analysis tools, partnering with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and data quality.
- Identify trends, issues, and insights through analytical review of financial data and ensure accuracy of entries within major accounting systems.
- Support compliance requirements by following SOX, internal controls, and audit standards, helping remediate control gaps in a timely manner.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed to support broader finance objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related filed.
- 3 years of accounting &/or financial analysis experience or graduate of the 2-year Finance & Accounting Development Program with 1 year outside work experience.
- Proficient in Hyperion Planner & SAP.
What Will Set You Apart
- CPA &/or MBA or advanced Degree.
- Experience working in an environment requiring analytical response to a variety of business issues.
- Demonstrates strong analytical abilities & a thorough understanding of GAAP.
- Ability to interpret & apply current US GAAP, accounting for complex transactions & internal controls in compliance with SOX.
- Highly organized & ability to manage concurrent deadlines & multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate to present information, both verbally & written effectively with all levels of the organization.
