The Data Engineering Senior Analyst will be a member of the Data Engineering and Analytics (DEA) team. This position is critical to the establishment of data pipelines for the entire organization (includes both internally/externally sourced data). The incumbent engages/facilitates with various stakeholders within Information Technology (IT) and the business to identify requirements and design/implement data pipelines.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for creating and/or updating data pipelines (including ETL [extract, transform, load]). 

• Participate in data manipulation and deployment of artifact.     

• Document requirements and design/support documentation for deployed pipelines.

• Work closely with internal team members, on/off-shore contractors, strategic business units (SBUs), IT associates and Data Scientist teams

• Data pipeline maintenance and abend support.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related discipline. In lieu of degree 6 or more years of experience in Information Technology.    

• 1 or more years of experience in Information Technology 

• Familiarity with databases, big data (streams) and coding   

What Will Set You Apart:

• Knowledge and strong skills with SQL and noSQL databases/application (Teradata, Redshift, MongoDb or equivalent) 

• Extensive knowledge and experience of DevOps, Agile practices and CI/CD

• Extensive knowledge of cloud-native solutions, microservices and cloud computing (AWS and Azure) 

• Extensive knowledge of software development (Python, Scala, Golang, SQL) and Data solutions (Tableau, Cognos, Informatica) 

• Strong knowledge of AI, ML and Cognitive services concepts
