About this role

Role Objective:

To identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop suppliers capable of meeting aerospace quality, cost, and delivery standards for components and subsystems used in eVTOLs, drones, and unmanned aerial platforms. This role plays a key part in enabling BOM localization, Indigenization, cost optimization, and long-term vendor partnerships.
Required Qualifications:
•        B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Aerospace / Production / Mechatronics Engineering
•        10+  years of experience in vendor development / supplier quality / sourcing in aerospace, automotive, or defence manufacturing
•        Experience working with aerospace standards – AS9100D, NADCAP, ISO9001, FAIR, PPAP, CEMILAC/DGAQA is preferred.
•        Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes: CNC machining, sheet metal, composites, Metal Fabrication, electronics & Sub systems, or plastics.
•        Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups.
•        Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle) and basic procurement workflows.
 
 Key Competencies:

•        Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving
•        Attention to detail in audits and compliance
•        Initiative to build systems in a startup environment
•        Ability to manage multiple suppliers and timelines.
