How will you contribute to our success?
- Managing the supply chain. ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently and delivered on-time to support the organization’s operations and strategic goals
- Investigate relevant suppliers and submit Request for Quote through procurement software and where required negotiate with external stakeholders
- Coordinate purchase orders in ORACLE and ensure company procedure guidelines are followed for the complete order cycle
- Foster alternate supply channels to mitigate risks associated with single source dependencies
- Administer the received quotes in purchasing software and expedite at discetion
- Issue Purchase Orders-Oversee the processing of purchase orders and ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures in a timely manner
The skills you will bring to our team
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the role as Procurement Coordinator or similar role
- Sound understanding of computer software systems – relating to ship purchases (i.e. – Shipsure, SAP/Oracle, etc.)
