About this role
Job Purpose:
To provide new and precut lumber to jobs.
Essential Duties Responsibilities:
- Set up dome wedge jigs.
- Set up dome and wall jigs.
- Cut dome and wall ribs and assemble dome wedges.
- Performs safety inspection of reused walkboards, plywood 2”x 6” bracing, dome and wall ribs.
- Procures new lumber.
- Builds diaphragm pallets, shipping boxes etc.
- Unloads, counts and stores new and used lumber.
- Clean up lumber yard.
- Operates forklift.
- Observe and maintain all safety procedures.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- No experience necessary
Other requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to drive a forklift or learn
Working Conditions:
- Primarily works outside exposed to the elements
- Exposed to hazardous materials
- Exposed to frequent loud noises
- Exposed to dangerous machinery
- Generally work five 8-hour days, although overtime may occur
