Please note: This role is not a fully remote position. The selected candidate will need to be based in Singapore and follow our hybrid work setup—3 days onsite and 2 days working from home each week. This is an Individual Contributor position.

As a Manager, Product Development, you will lead technical projects and product development initiatives for Coca-Cola’s portfolio in multiple categories. You’ll manage projects from concept to commercialization, translating global strategies into products tailored to regional tastes, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing capabilities. Working closely with cross-functional teams and global technical networks, you’ll help deliver competitive, disruptive, and consumer-led solutions that support the business priorities.

What You’ll Do

Key areas of focus of this role can be summarized as follows:

  • Lead Product Development End-to-End – Manage formulation, sensory evaluation, pilot trials, and scale-up in collaboration with marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain teams, and global R&D networks.

  • Integrate Digital & Global Insights – Use digital tools, data, and global learnings to refine concepts and accelerate market readiness.

  • Localize Innovation – Adapt global technical platforms into products that resonate with local consumers, meet cost targets, and comply with regulations.

  • Collaborate Across Functions – Partner with Marketing, Quality, Procurement, SRA, and Commercialization to ensure flawless execution and market fit.

  • Ensure Quality & Regulatory Compliance – Anticipate and mitigate risks in stability, sensory experience, allergens, shelf-life, and microbial safety.

  • Leverage External Ecosystems – Work with suppliers, startups, and ingredient innovators to bring new technologies and solutions into products.

  • Grow Capability – Transfer knowledge on formulation and technical processes to junior colleagues and foster an inclusive, collaborative mindset.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.

  • 4–6 years in product development for beverages/food,

  • Strong technical understanding of ingredient functionality within beverage systems.

  • Experience managing multiple projects from ideation to launch in fast-paced environments.

  • Familiarity with sensory evaluation, consumer testing, and data interpretation for decision-making.

  • Fluent in English; regional languages a plus.

  • Regional travel up to ~20%.

  • Technical depth in formulation, processing, and packaging for beverages.

  • Ability to turn consumer insights into technically feasible product ideas.
