EME OU (Eurasia Middle East Operating Unit) Marketing is undergoing a step-change to deliver more balanced, sustainable growth, powered by deeper consumer intimacy, stronger integration, accelerated innovation, and data- and tech-enabled precision marketing. The organization is designed to combine local relevance with scale, shift data and technology from experimentation to competitive advantage, and operate through flywheel execution with clear accountability for impact and ROI (Return on Investment). All roles operate within a tightly integrated OU (Operating Unit) –Market model, where the OU elevates and enables long-term growth + OU-wide platforms while markets integrate, execute, and track performance with speed and rigor while developing local content, partnership and experiences.

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

Build a best-in-class social, influencer, and newsroom ecosystem that drives relevance, positive conversations, and conversion — moving from content output to always-on cultural and commercial impact.

  • Influencer Strategy & Planning: Own influencer strategy, planning, and governance. Build long-term creator ecosystems, not one-off activations. Leverage influencers as conversion and credibility drivers, not just reach.
  • Newsroom & Real-Time Marketing: Lead newsroom planning and execution, ensuring speed, relevance, and coordination. Enable real-time and reactive marketing, grounded in brand purpose and guardrails to drive consistent positive sentiment and manage sentiment “valleys” . Integrate newsroom into broader media and IMX (integrated marketing experience) plans.
  • Listening, Intelligence & Optimization: Own social listening and intelligence, turning signals into action.
  • Data, Tech & Capability: Leverage AI, automation, and MarTech to scale content and personalization. Upskill agencies and markets on modern social, creator, and newsroom practices.

Experience & Critical Requirements

  • Significant media, influencers experience (10 years+) and agency management
  • Great to have : experience in relevant marketing disciplines like creative strategy, connections, category/brand positioning
  • Led projects and capabilities that leverage Digital/ Data/ AI as edges
  • Behaviors: Growth Mindset: someone that is curious, dreams big, does what is hard and has an enterprise mindset. Passionate and uncompromisable commitment to excellence and servant leadership.

Communication focus:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; influential skills with senior executives
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships with key business partners (internally and externally), comfortable in working with senior leaders
