Job Description Summary:
Focus Areas:
Lead, implement, and maintain standardized quality, food safety, occupational health and safety and environment capabilities, product specifications, processes, and performance for ingredients and packaging materials across the CCAR (Central Asia and Caucasus) region.
Implement QSE systems and programs while ensuring quality quality-by-design (QbD) leadership through partnership governance and innovation across the supply chains.
Implement and monitor The Coca-Cola Quality System (KORE) and ensure products, packages, ingredients, services, fountain operations and production facilities comply with the requirements of KORE and local regulations.
Develop strategies, oversee implementation, evaluate and certify the effectiveness of QSE Systems at manufacturing facilities and authorized suppliers in the region.
Continuously research and identify new technologies and processes to raise quality standards, with the ability to apply concepts that reduce process variation, enhance quality, and optimize costs.
Support H&S systems and programs while ensuring best-in-class leadership through partnership, governance and innovation across the supply chains in collaboration with the OU Health and Safety Director,.
Implement all global QSE methodology, standards and requirements for product, package and processes, distribution and marketplace
Execute the OU Quality, Food Safety & Occupational Health and Safety and Environment improvement activities throughout the value chain to protect people, product, package, environment and trademark integrity, and improve QSE performance.
Generate QSE reports using historical QSE metrics and data to track and drive continuous quality improvement and manage cost of quality failures across the supply chain within CCAR markets.
Serve as a quality expert and consultant, responding to targeted questions from local teams, stakeholders, and other business units. Provide technical guidance to other company staff to ensure QSE standards are met and promote ongoing improvements in line with regional, market, regulatory, and company conditions.
Ensure continuity of supply and authorization of new supply locations by conducting on-site audits at supplier facilities (whenever needed), laboratories, bottlers, or fountain customers, confirming compliance with company principles, policies, standards, specifications, and requirements.
Lead strategic problem solving; follow up on corrective action plans to ensure timely completion and drive permanent, sustainable improvements to prevent recurring quality issues or disruptions in CCAR filling operations.
Represent the company by hosting, attending, or presenting at professional or client meetings to share or gather quality-related information pertinent to the business, including reporting results and findings from special projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical role such quality systems, quality assurance, laboratory management, R&D or engineering.
Proficient with statistics and analytical problem-solving skills, enabling smart decisions that protect the customer, consumer, and brand.
Deep experience implementing and operating Quality Systems.
Strong knowledge of QSE principles and food safety best practices.
Previous hands-on experience with project management, continuous improvement programs, or Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
Solid understanding of manufacturing and process controls for beverage ingredients and packaging.
Safeguard confidential information from external partners and ensure information is shared only with relevant internal stakeholders.
Take appropriate personal actions to meet customer/client requirements within the CCAR region.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with external parties (customers, bottlers, consumers, communities, regulators, vendors, suppliers), creating business opportunities in line with company financial goals.
Build productive relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback, solve problems, assess business needs, and achieve desired results.
Develop a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of customers, clients, and partners within your scope of accountability in the CCAR region.
