Your role at Clorox:

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a Inventory Systems Analyst position at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes to ensure accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and seamless integration with production and supply chain systems. The position focuses on system-driven warehouse operations, error resolution, and compliance with quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Starting hourly rate: $33.85 with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system.

Rotational Shifts: (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Candidate may need to be available on a rotational shift our hours include 1st shift: (7am – 3:30pm) 2nd shift: (3pm – 11:30pm), 3rd shift: (11pm – 7:30am). Flexibility with overtime on a as business needs arise.

In this role, you will:

Inventory & Warehouse Task Management

  • Monitor and execute open warehouse tasks, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.

  • Create and cancel warehouse tasks as needed to maintain operational flow.

  • Perform spot checks and investigate inventory discrepancies outside of cycle counting.

  • Execute cycle counting and reconcile variances to maintain inventory integrity.

  • Manage stock type changes, including quality hold processes.

  • Shipping & Receiving

  • Oversee all shipping and receiving transactions within SAP EWM.

  • Validate goods receipt bins at order completion and ensure proper staging.

  • Support RTVPO processes for returning defective materials to vendors.

Material Consumption & Production Integration

  • Post material consumption transactions and monitor for errors.

  • Investigate variances in material usage and address system or process gaps.

  • Update production order barcodes and ensure accurate linkage to warehouse tasks.

System Monitoring & Error Resolution

  • Monitor RTNPSA bins and clear PSA at the end of production orders.

  • Check for stock left on resources and correct errors in merged pallets.

  • Manage queue monitoring and clearing for advanced warehouse tasks.

  • Perform HU reversals and troubleshoot system-related issues.

  • Master Data & Setup

  • Configure new finished goods, raw materials, and storeroom parts.

  • Assign bins and create new bin locations for inventory and storeroom.

  • Validate material setups for receiving and staging accuracy.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Document EWM processes and maintain compliance with operational standards.

  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to resolve system gaps and improve workflows.

  • Support training initiatives for RF device usage (scanners and tablets).

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with EWM and related warehouse management processes.

  • Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow in manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to troubleshoot system errors and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 and MES integration.

  • Knowledge of advanced warehouse task management and exception handling.

  • Experience in process documentation and continuous improvement projects.
