Your role at Clorox:

The Customer Team Leader is a high visibility, fast-paced position that is responsible for setting the strategy and vision for a team of field sales professionals and cross-functional experts to maximize Clorox relationships and business results. This leader will achieve brand and customer objectives by working closely to link the internal business unit (BU) objectives with the Customer plans. The role requires a deep level of influence and negotiation skills to impact joint business plans and investments across multiple demand levers.

In this role, you will:

Engage our People as Business Owners

Inspire and encourage team members to take personal ownership of their role and have a clear understanding of the impact on the broader organization. Educate teams and team members on what is required to build and deliver strategic, omni-channel plans. Facilitate connection between customer teams, cross-functional partners and business unit leadership. Lead in the space of inclusion, diversity and belonging.

Drive the Business

Enables profitable growth through leadership and development of strategic omni-plans and direction for the customer/cross functional teams.  Owns the execution of volume, net sales, AMPS and NRM objectives for the Customer teams. 

Customer Planning and Development

Penetrates the Customer and builds relationships with Business Leaders and alignment to long-term (LRP or FY top/bottom) targets. Understands and drives the business planning process.  Delivers Joint Business Plans for the Customer that achieve results and is within the trade budget.

Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste

Ensures team has knowledge and tools to drive growth.  Drives connection between customer team, cross-functional resources and category counterparts.

  • Strong understanding of the enterprise and ach functions role

Strong negotiation skills 

  • Ability to recognize and drive good growth  
  • Applies sound judgement and moves forward with confidence despite ambiguity or imperfect information
  • Ability to assess stakeholder needs/environmental awareness

Workplace type:

This opportunity will require 3 days in the Bentonville, AR office. For internal applicants, current remote employees are eligible for consideration.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $153,700 - $309,000

–Zone B: $140,900 - $283,300

–Zone C: $128,100 - $257,500

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
