About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Virtualization and storage team in Infrastructure Support group, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Your Role:
- You will be part of an experienced technical team responsible for maintaining and managing the virtualization and storage infrastructure.
- Ensuring the virtualization and storage platforms are kept up to date, from both hardware and software perspective. Implement appropriate methodologies, standards and best practices.
- Automating manual tasks to increase execution velocity and minimize the risk of human error
- Integrating new storage devices, projects and technologies
- Defining and implementing DR and HA strategy
- Providing current usage reports and future growth trends / capacity planning
- Monitoring Service Desk queues and managing incidents and escalations with vendors
- Complying with quality guidelines and escalation policies and procedures
- Providing 8x5 operational support. Promptly responding to telephone calls, voice-mails and emails.
- Participating in weekend on-call schedule and responding to telephone calls in emergency situations
- Resolving and documenting system errors and performance issues
- Performing root cause analysis for critical errors and outages
About You:
- You have 5+ years of hands-on experience working with storage and virtualization infrastructure solutions in enterprise environments
- 3 – 5 years’ experience with VMware ESXi and vSAN
- 1 – 3 years’ experience with traditional storage technologies, SAN & NAS – NetApp, Oracle ZFS and/or Dell PowerStore
- 1 – 3 years’ experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) – Nutanix, SimpliVity or VxRail
- Experience with Automation technologies / tools (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible or Jenkins)
- You have a very good understanding of, but not limited to, IT Infrastructure and IT Operations
- You are self-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail and the ability to think laterally for problem solving
- You are able to meet deadlines and changing priorities. Must be able to work in high-pressure environment, sometimes independently and sometimes as part of a project team
Salary Range
3500-4500 Eur Gross (negotiable, based on your skills and experience)
