We are looking for exceptional software engineers/developers in our Home Delivery organization. The Software Engineering Lead Analyst is responsible for the delivery of a business need end-to-end starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production. This role requires you to be fluent in some of the critical technologies with proficiency in others and have a hunger to learn on the job and add value to the business. Critical attributes of being a software engineer here at Evernorth, among others, is ownership & accountability. The candidate needs to be proficient in UI technologies (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).

In addition to Delivery, the candidate should have an automation first and continuous improvement mindset. He/She should drive the adoption of CI/CD tools and support the improvement of the tools sets/processes.

Responsibilities
•    Perform software development and maintenance of company standard UI workflows using Angular, Redux, NodeJS.
•    Implementing test suites to test the developed functionalities based on test scenarios proposed by Product Owner using Test Automation Frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, Cucumber, etc. to ensure code quality and performance.
•    Working in an AGILE environment with bi-weekly sprints and provided work updates in daily SCRUM calls, maintaining industry level best practices for software development using wide varieties of latest technologies and frameworks.
•    Participating in software/hardware configuration, releases, and installation tasks.
•    Demonstrating the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
•    Experience in working with REST APIs (Micro Services) as per the internal business requirements.
•    Research on new technologies and document them in timely manner to enhance API processing performance, test driven development (including code coverage of 95%), behavior driven development where automation is done using Junit/Cucumber.
•    Maintain proper logging to monitor the request/response time and TPS of the application, closely monitor the daily transactions history using industry standard monitoring tools.
•    Deploy the code into the AWS and OpenShift platforms through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodology (Jenkins) after each successful implementation of new feature.
•    Participate in code reviews after each successful push in the repo, suggest if any changes required to maintain the cleaner and concise code.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
•    Take ownership and accountability of the application/tasks.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. 
•    Strong influencing/negotiation skills.
•    Have a passion to learn and a desire to simplify. 
•    Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills. 
•    Strong time and project management skills. 
•    Proficiency with most of the following technologies- React JS framework, Redux. 
•    Familiarity with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership.  
•    Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example. 


Required Experience & Education: 
•    8+ years of software engineering experience in UI development.
•    3+ years of experience in JavaScript frameworks, esp. React JS
•    Proficient in AWS/OpenShift/Cloud deployments
•    Experience with tuning high-volume applications
•    Experience with caching products
•    Experience with working in Agile environment
•    Exposure to Java is huge benefit.
•    Exposure to Spring boot is huge benefit.
•    Proficient in Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline
•    Strong in testing frameworks like Cucumber, Mockito
•    College degree (Bachelor+) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.  

Desired Experience:  
•    Exposure to OpenShift and AWS 
•    Healthcare experience.
