About this role

The incumbent will provide all aspects of sales and business development to achieve sales target. He/she will work with various external and internal stakeholders to maximize the effectiveness of processes and provide optimum service on medical solutions for individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Chief Distribution & Strategy Officer to develop broker strategies

  • Develop and maintain sound relationships with brokers by acting as a key contact point and providing efficient and high quality service

  • Actively seek and develop new business opportunities through brokers, by expanding existing broker relationships or developing new relationships with brokers; and to occasionally work directly with clients

  • Achieve individual and team sales target

  • Provide effective solutions to brokers and clients with product information and handling sales enquiries for products including but not limited to healthcare, critical illness and other products

  • Be a liaison among the team, internal and external stakeholders and to the brokers

  • Identify improvements to prevent issues from recurring

  • Assist on any ad-hoc business projects

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree with minimum 5 years’ related working experience in banking or insurance field. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.

  • IIQE Paper 1,2 required

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Self-motivated and able to manage priorities in meeting tight deadlines

  • Detailed oriented, organized and able to work independently

  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills with internal and external stakeholders

  • Innovative and sound problem-solving skill to respond to brokers and clients
