Financial Analysis Analyst
Job Summary
Financial Analysis Analyst role is responsible for reviewing and approving client expenses, managing daily financial reporting and direct billing processes. This role’s key responsibility is supporting various business partners, overseeing the OS Mailbox, and collaborating with legal partners on complex transactions, and analyzing data to identify trends for management.
Responsibilities
- Expense Review & Approval: Review and approve client specific transactions, invoices and expenses for Cigna commercial healthcare clients ensuring those meet the requirements for reimbursement, and that sufficient funds are available to cover the costs.
- Daily Reporting: Run daily reports to ensure prior day's transactions are processed for payment and reimbursement.
- Revenue Management: Manage the revenue process for direct billing to clients.
- Business Partner Support: Provide support to business partners, including sales, underwriting, revenue and billing, audit, and others.
- Mailbox Oversight: Oversee and manage the centralized Mailbox, responding to inquiries, requests, and providing guidance.
- Quality Review: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of entries/transactions through regular quality checks.
- Legal Collaboration: Engage with legal partners on transactions that do not meet general guidelines, assisting with further evaluation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Run reports, analyze data, and identify trends for management and legal partners.
Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent degree
- 1 – 3 years prior experience in invoicing, accounts payable, or accounting
- Must have knowledge of US healthcare
- Experience with Oracle and AP systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Location: Innovation Hub, Hyderabad, India (Hybrid: 3 days WFO, 2 days WFH)
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, with expected overlap with US (EST) hours. Flexibility required around month, quarter, and year-end close.
