About this role

BYU-Pathway Worldwide is supported by the Information and Communication Services (ICS) department of the Church.  We are excited to announce the opening of a solution manager position in the ICS Education technology team that oversees a number of the applications that are used by BYU-Pathway students.  These include the student portal, EnglishConnect for students taking English classes, and an offline course application built on Instructure Canvas.

This position is employed by ICS not BYU-Pathway Worldwide

 Mgr, Solution 1 is a manager position that leads a team responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT solutions within the organization. A key focus is creating, delivering—including the ideation, planning, execution, collecting requirements and operational decommissioning—and operating these IT solutions for the organization globally. This management position approves solution architecture and manages all financial, technical and human resources supporting end-to-end IT solution lifecycle ownership. This position provides vision and direction to customers on how technology can be used to increase user productivity, solve complex business problems, and support the mission of the organization.  

This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
