You’ll lead the evolution of our data platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, resilient, and future-ready.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>In this role, you’ll collaborate across the organisation to enable high-quality and timely data delivery, integrate data across multiple sources, and champion best practices in data governance, architecture, and engineering. You’ll also lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data architects, engineers, and analysts - creating a culture where innovation and collaboration thrive.</span></p><p><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Define and drive the organisation’s data architecture strategy that aligns with the overarching Data Strategy.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design, manage, document, and evolve the overall data architecture.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Continuously evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance data storage, processing, and access capabilities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement appropriate data management technologies, processes, and frameworks to enable data storage, data ingestion, data processing, data integration, data governance, data science, AI tool integration, etc.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Plan and manage the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, timeliness of data delivery, and security.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement best practices to ensure that the data platform meets the performance, scalability, and security needs of the organisation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure data quality and consistency.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop and enforce data security policies to protect sensitive information.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with business analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide data to meet those requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure timely and accurate responses to business data requests, providing solutions and actionable recommendations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure the data architecture is aligned with product roadmaps and technical systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead, inspire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data architects, data engineers, and data analysts.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Establish a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.</span></p></li></ul><p><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p><span>5+ years of experience in managing data architectures, data engineering, or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven leadership experience managing data teams, including data architects, data engineers, data analysts.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in relational databases and NoSQL databases.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with ETL tools and processes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage, processing (incl. real time processing), and analytics.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g. Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault), and technologies (e.g., Google Big Query, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with implementing modern Delta Lake/Data Lakehouse architectures, also called medallion architectures.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data management (e.g., SQL, Python).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Understanding data governance, data protection regulations, and security best practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Expertise in data modeling techniques and tools including transactional and dimensional modelling.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for managing data infrastructure code.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to solving complex data challenges.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Flexibility to adapt to
