Your Role:

The Head of Commercial will lead the development and execution of a commercialization strategy focused on sales and delivery in the US, Europe and parts of APAC. S/he will be responsible for building a commercialization infrastructure and organization to drive market adoption of company products and revenue growth. The Head of Commercial will lead the assessment and prioritization of market segments and focus sales efforts to penetrate target markets effectively. This executive will ensure business excellence and people leadership across the sales organization.  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a thoughtful, collaborative, action-oriented, well-conceived commercial path to market for Company products to achieve targeted revenue growth. 

    • Develop an effective and responsible infrastructure to ensure the successful execution of go-to-market strategies. 

    • Develop and sustain highly collaborative cross-functional working relationships within the organization in pursuit of Company’s overall business goals. 

    • Develop and implement Company sales strategy across key market segments to ensure Company identifies and optimizes a clear growth path. Assess, build, and manage an array of necessary channels capable of delivering on Company's growth objectives. 

    • Lead activities related to market planning and market research, focusing on sales opportunities. 

    • Lead, supervise, hire, manage, develop, and sustain a sales function that is critical to the successful launch and delivery of Company products. 

    • Establish and monitor progress against key performance indicators. 

     

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 9+ years’ experience in commercially-focused roles of increasing scope and leadership responsibilities in a life sciences related industry
  • Previous experience managing diverse teams in a global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully launch efforts of defining, developing, and rapidly executing sales strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a nimble, fast-paced environment, being hands-on as well as strategic
  • A successful track record of delivering on commitments and maximizing financial returns of growing businesses through the development of a strategic vision and the execution of operating plans
  • Exceptional program and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a life sciences field
  • Willing to travel up to 25-50% international or domestic

  • MBA
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment

 

This role can be based anywhere in the US

Pay Range for this position: $186,200 - $303,100. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
