Your Role
The Business Process Excellence Expert (BPE) plays a pivotal role in supporting Life Sciences Sustain & Enhance ERP organization related to ERP system enhancements and LS ERP projects. Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Sustain and Enhance, you will support the preparation and deployment of ERP-related projects and system enhancements that will impact the business for years to come. You will collaborate with IT Solution Experts and Data Experts to drive continuous improvement and align the LS ERP with the business strategies within Commercial. Your knowledge of commercial processes, especially within the Life Sciences industry, will be crucial. You will identify areas for improvement, help develop detailed process documentation, and balance multiple responsibilities to deliver high-quality results. Acting as a crucial link between local business units and global activities, the BPE ensures seamless communication and guidance throughout the entire issue, requirement, and project deployment journeys. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and extensive project management experience.
What You Do
- Act as business lead for ERP process within their respective functional area
- Analyze current business processes with local experts to identify areas for improvement.
- Aligns with business on overall site business process scope and local gaps, local workarounds
- Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into process designs.
- Document and approve business User Requirements Specifications (i.e.URS & TS1 & CRs).
- Coordinate and support testing which is executed by LKUs (BAT & VAT, including regression testing when required)*
- Facilitates integration topics toward process harmonization and best practice sharing
- Ensures adequate knowledge exchange & coverage within their respective team of BPEs
- Ensures project milestones are delivered, in collaboration with other required workstreams, escalating risks & issues as required
- Guidance & support local data requirements and activities
- Support change management activities
- Ensure the Local Key Users are appropriately trained, & able to train the local end users
- Document the training materials in English
- Supports the project through hypercare and stabilization, when support is then transferred to standard help desk process
Who You Are
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, problem-solving strength, and process thinking.
- Empowering team player with a proactive, self-motivated work approach and a passion for business processes.
- Fluent in English; additional foreign language skills are beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with commercial processes or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably within the Life Sciences industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage business processes and implementations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze highly complex business processes.
- Effective communication skills to work closely with various stakeholders and ensure alignment.
- Understanding of commercial and the broader ERP landscape.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
