About this role

The Professional Staff in the Department of Podiatry, also called Podiatrist, diagnoses, treats, operates and prescribes for any disease, injury, deformity, or other conditions of the foot.  These may include but not limited to: (1) injuries to bones (including fractures, tendons and soft tissues; (2) food problems resulting from illness such as diabetes, arthritis, AIDS and cardiovascular disease; (3) bacterial and fungal infections; (4) skin and nail disorders; (5) benign and cancerous tumors; (6) congenital and acquired deformities.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved four-year program of podiatric medical education and received the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) Degree
  • One (1) year acute experience - PREFERRED
  • One (1) year experience in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
  • New York State Licensed Podiatrist
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
