Position Overview: This position is responsible for being the face of Trans Global Service, demonstrating enthusiasm while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction!
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with courteous and professional in-home servicing of all furniture ensuring adherence to “The Perfect Call”
- Repair of case goods, flats, and upholstery products with the support of experienced technicians
- Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintained
- Communicate with customers regarding details of the assessment and servicing required
- Complete all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock
- Ensure the proper maintenance of shop tools and vehicles
- Adhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Furniture repair and woodworking experience would be an asset
- Confident in the use of hand tools
- Valid driver’s license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)
- Outstanding Customer Service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette
- Punctuality and dependability a must
- Must be organized and detail oriented
