We are seeking a HVAC Facility Maintenance Tech for assignment in Greensburg, Indiana. The selected candidate will prioritize repairs and complete required PM’s on facility equipment.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 11:00pm - 7:30am
This is a Night Shift position
This position has a pay rate of $30 - $32/hr
This position requires an EPA Universal / Refrigerant License
- Performs preventative maintenance tasking on all HVAC/R equipment
- Starts systems, observes operation, reads gauges and instruments and adjusts mechanisms
- Screws, bolts, rivets, welds and brazes parts to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores and pipes
- Discuss system malfunctions with users to isolate problems.
- Installs wiring to connect components to electric power source
- Lubricates fans, motors and control units; Replaces defective/worn parts
- Cuts, threads, gas welds and connects pipe to functional HVAC/R component systems
- Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains equipment
- Must be able to complete PM and work order activity in CMMS.
- Prepare reports when requested by the client supervisor, whether on equipment failures, accidents, technical reports and near misses
- A valid Driver's License
- An EPA Universal / Refrigerant License
- 3+ years experience maintaining and operating HVAC/R equipment in an industrial, commercial or manufacturing environment
- Experience with air compressors, pump and plumbing maintenance
- Basic electrical experience
