The Sr. Specialist, Work Management Mobile Platforms is responsible for maintaining the work management Mobile application across AES globally and must possess expert knowledge of the Mobile administration system responsibilities.  In addition, the successful applicant will need to have expert knowledge of our AES Asset Management Global Standards, especially as they encompass AES Work Management, Asset Maintenance and Asset Reliability.

This position can be based out of any AES office.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains governance, control, and oversight of the Prometheus Mobile database (includes both Prometheus Planning & Scheduling suite) as well as Prometheus Mobile.
  • Partners with AES business leads on a global AES scale to ensure the system is aligned to AES’s strategic roadmap to deliver on the business goals.
  • Incorporates new AES businesses globally into the Prometheus Planning & Schedule and Prometheus Mobile database.  Sets up all end users.
  • Supports Prometheus license acquisition and renewal processes. 
  • racks active Prometheus Planning & Scheduling and Prometheus Mobile licensing per AES site globally.  Works with the global corporate team for intra-company billing distribution.
  • Strong understanding of AES device management and AES security protocol in SAP.
  • Acts as liaison with global network and global cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with AES organizational policies.
  • Works with Supply Chain on strategic procurement of hardware / software as required. 
  • Will manage large-scale, formal software applications sourcing events worth millions of dollars.  
  • Directly trains end users on the use of the mobile platform across all AES sites globally on an as needed basis and creates exemplary training documents.
  • Troubleshoots Prometheus mobile system outages and works congruently with the AES global support teams to alleviate.
  • Coordinates Prometheus mobile upgrades working harmoniously with the AES global support teams.
  • Serves as direct interface with Prometheus on AES global roadmap development strategies in alignment with AES global standards.
  • Possesses expert knowledge of AES Work Management processes and aligns the Prometheus Mobile platform development functionality accordingly.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), SAP Fiori, and all Prometheus platforms (Planning & Scheduling Suite and Prometheus Mobile).
  • Will be involved and support additional AES Digital projects to ensure the Prometheus Platform remains aligned with AES goals.
  • Will perform as the SAP BPO (Business Process Owner) for U.S. Clean Energy (Renewables, Southland, Puerto Rico)

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Post high school Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical generation work management roles.
  • CMRP (certified maintenance reliability professional) certification desirable.

 

Skills Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrate the ability to create a safe work culture.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical generation work management roles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all AES plant people and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PM, SAP Fiori.
  • Advanced knowledge of Prometheus platforms.  Prometheus Planning & Scheduling Suite, Prometheus Mobile and Prometheus Rounds.
  • Computer skills required, i.e., Word, Excel, Projects, Outlook, Power Point, etc.  
  • Must be results orientated, self motivated, and able to work with limited direct supervision.
  • English and Spanish Fluency is a strong plus.

 

Job Location and Details:

  • Role can be based out of any AES office.
  • Frequent travel will involve visiting project sites and training end users.  Additional travel is expected to be occasional for training, conventions, seminars, etc.
