JOB SUMMARY:
To provide technical assistance to engineering and corporate staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides technical assistance, under the direct supervision of the engineering staff in compiling technical information, solving problems and assisting in preparing reports working from various procedures and standard practices.
o Researches, computes, charts, plots, reads and measures engineering or test data.
o Assists engineering staff in compiling data and preparing engineering reports.
o Operates computer equipment to process engineering data.
o May be required to help prepare engineering data sketches.
· Requires minimal contact with personnel in engineering to obtain and furnish information during training period.
· Direct observation of a certified Level 2 in NDI is required for all Accept/Reject decisions
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and the use of drawings, specifications, basic math and technical knowledge.
Requires 80 hours of NDI formal training.
EXPERIENCE:
Up to one year experience in nondestructive testing preferred.
