This role focuses on developing strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing customers, by understanding their needs, recommending tailored financial solutions, educating them on digital and self-service banking options. The role needs to have strong expertise in personal and consumer banking products and services, including checking and savings accounts. A comprehensive understanding of small business banking requirements is also essential. The Relationship Banker supports all branch functions, including teller services, loan processing and cross-functional collaboration, all while representing TexasBank with professionalism, integrity and a service-first mindset.     JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Focuses most of the time directly helping customers by deepening relationships through referrals and sales, assisting with financial needs and recommendation of products, services and solutions. Establishes trust with customers by confidently engaging them in conversations to understand their goals and deliver personalized banking solutions. Acts as a Digital Banking Ambassador by educating and training customers on how to complete transactions through our self-service digital banking channels (ATM, ITM, online banking, mobile banking) Delivers an exceptional and consistent customer experience with passion, commitment and strong service orientation.  Possesses a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality; represents TexasBank with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs, priorities and deadlines Collaborates effectively with branch team members and across departments to meet customer needs and branch goals. Communicates effectively and confidently and is comfortable engaging all customers and their needs Displays passion, commitment and drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience that improves their overall financial needs. Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver timely and accurate solutions. Maintains familiarity with all types of commercial customers and the products and services to support their business needs. Provide teller support as needed, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in all transactions. Assists Loan/Lending Officers with administrative tasks related to loan processing and may coordinate loan closings, if applicable. Flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours, as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.   WORKING CONDITIONS: Air-Conditioned work environment. Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sit for extended periods of time. Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach. Simple grasping and fine manipulation. Extended keyboarding. QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two years of retail banking experience Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software. Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.   PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
