Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Worth - Hulen - Fort Worth, TX 76109Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Admin - ClericalSUMMARY: The Mortgage Compliance Disclosure Desk Specialist position is responsible for creating, distributing, and tracking all early disclosures required on a residential mortgage loan. The incumbent in this role works closely with the Mortgage Loan Officer teams to ensure proper disclosure of fees and documentation based on the loan product requested by the applicants. This position requires someone who is detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated. JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receives notification from the Mortgage Loan Officer team that an initial application is ready for initial disclosures. Reviews the application system to ensure all required information has been entered. Creates an initial disclosure package based on the product selected by the borrower.  Sends the initial disclosure package to the Mortgage Loan Officer and borrower for signatures based on the instructions received; face to face interview or documents to be sent for electronic signatures. Receives notification from the Mortgage Loan Officer team that a re-disclosure is required and follows appropriate steps as outlined. Communicates with the Loan Officer and Loan Processor team throughout the application process. Requires knowledge of closing requirements for Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans along with TexasBank Mortgage policies and procedures. Attends product, policy and procedure training meetings as requested. Possesses knowledge of state and federal mortgage lending regulations and their effect upon mortgage lending activities.  Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to Real Estate Settlement Protection Act (RESPA) and Truth-in-Lending. Understand and agree to abide by the policies and procedures established by TexasBank. Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws, and in accordance with the Bank’s Information Security Program. Maintains a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees consistent with the Bank’s mission and philosophy. Provides enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service to TexasBank customers and employees. Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information, including borrower information, and records. Continue professional development through training, seminars, membership in professional associations, as applicable. Other duties and special projects as assigned.   WORKING CONDITIONS: Air-conditioned office environment. Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sit for extended periods of time. Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach. Simple grasping and fine manipulation. Extended keyboarding. QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma required. Minimum of two years of related work experience. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Analytical and demonstrates attention to detail. Problem Solving – works well in group solving situations.
