Nurse Manager – NICU RN (Night Shift)
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend and On-Call Rotation Required
Compensation: $40.00 – $58.00 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team during the night shift. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced NICU RN who excels in clinical care and team development. As a Nurse Manager, you will oversee care delivery in a high-acuity environment and help shape the future of neonatal care in our Houston facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director to manage day-to-day operations of the NICU

  • Lead and support a team of NICU RNs in delivering safe, evidence-based neonatal care

  • Monitor staff performance and drive departmental quality and performance improvement initiatives

  • Provide direct clinical support and serve as a resource to bedside staff

  • Oversee patient care plans, evaluate outcomes, and ensure high standards of safety and compliance

  • Support hospital initiatives, compliance protocols, and staff development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care NICU leadership experience (charge nurse or manager level)

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Active Texas RN license or compact license with Texas endorsement within 60 days of hire

  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
