The VP Business Intelligence and Analytics will oversee business intelligence and analytics activities and teams, including information and insights development and delivery, business analysis, governance, and enablement. The VP of Business Intelligence and Analytics will partner with executive and senior leadership to see prioritize short-term and long-term resource allocation and investments to enhance Texas Health's ability to drive performance and execute its strategy.
Essential Functions:
· Lead and develop a team to deliver on a long-term strategic vision for data-driven business intelligence capabilities. Develop a prioritized multi-year road map to enhance and create new solutions to drive value and efficiency. Determine the investments necessary in terms of people and technology to achieve these objectives.
· Partners closely with leadership in operations, finance, quality, and other departments to prioritize short-term and long-term resource allocation and investments to enhance Texas Health’s ability to drive performance and execute its strategy.
· Directing and managing the sourcing, integrity, governance, organization, management and maintenance of business intelligence, measurement, reporting, enablement, and analytics (across internal team and external THR systems).
· Collaborate with departments to create performance dashboards to identify, prioritize, develop, analyze, evaluate, and communicate key datasets and performance metrics
· Deliver the foundational technology platform and service layers for reporting, analytics, leveraging reusable, scalable architectures to enable ongoing modernization efforts.
· Motivates and values staff around performance excellence, leadership and professional development, and participation in meetings and committees.
· Create a culture of continuous improvement by providing performance analysis for internal stakeholders regarding the impact that workflows and business processes have in driving performance.

Background, Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in health administration, business administration, engineering, economics, or relevant field preferred.
· Master’s degree in health administration, business administration, engineering, economics, or relevant field preferred.
· 10 years’ experience working in a Sr Leadership position in Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Analytics required.
· Strong knowledge of operations in Data Management, Business Intelligence, and Analytics.
· Progressively responsible managerial experience in advanced analytics, data management, data science, and/or data infrastructure in a large, highly matrixed, integrated delivery system in a senior management level position.
