PBX Operator

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled PBX Operator

Work location:  1325 Pennsylvania Avenue   Fort Worth, Texas 76104 & remote work

Work hours:  PRN (Days) – Shifts will vary.  Weekends and Weekdays are both required and shifts will generally be 9:00 am to 7:30 pm or 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.  Usually three 10 hour shifts per week.

Here’s What You Need:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

·         One year of experience as a Dispatcher, Communication Specialist, Customer Service Representative or similar position in a communication or dispatch center REQUIRED

·         Two years of Hospital experience (preferred)

What You Will Do:

·         Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard in a timely manner, directing calls to the correct location or assisting with needed phone numbers

·         Answer questions regarding basic operation of telephone system

·         Transfer calls to appropriate departments for problem resolution as needed

·         Overhead pages to locate physicians and relay approved information to employees and visitors

·         Document all page requests either automatically through paging system and/or manually using written records
