About this role

 Clinical Pharmacist – Acute Care

·       Work location: 1300 Pennsylvania Ave.  Fort. Worth, TX 76104

·       Hours: Its 40 hours per week, every third weekend, rotating days/evenings

 Here’s What You Need  

·       Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Required  

·       Other Pharm D. Required

·       CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.

·       PHAR- Pharmacist upon hire required.

·       3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred.

·       Highly preferred PGY1 residency completion (or equivalence)

·       Experience working in an inpatient acute care setting is highly preferred.

·       IV certification highly preferred

·       Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.  

 

What You Will Do

·       Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

·       Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

·       Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

·       Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.

·       Ongoing professional development and growth.

·       Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

·       Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

·       Other duties as assigned.
