About this role

We are searching for a Senior Physician Referral Liaison -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible for the professional business development of targeted physicians to drive referrals to Hospital through strategic account management, account migration and acquisition, and exceptional service and support.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes strategic action plans targeted toward physicians and their staff, to acquire, grow and nurture strong relationships that ultimately drive profitable referrals.
  • Performs as liaison between the hospital and community-based referring physicians.
  • Communicates and conducts personal visits regularly to referring physician offices to develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and their office staff. Assists in building marketing programs and communication plans designed to improve physician loyalty, drive account migration and acquisition, enhance referral profitability.
  • Ensures management of all functions related to problem resolution, identifying problems or concerns and offering exemplary service as the interface liaison to help drive resolution to referral issues.
  • Maintains complete and accurate physician records and inputs into the customer relationship management (CRM) program Salesforce.com, in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates referring physician meetings with specialists and /or representatives from Texas Children’s Hospital.
  • Informs senior management of important referring physician, community and corporate issues.
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of the services offered at Texas Children’s Hospital and the appropriate process for implementation of referrals and authorizations.
  • Develops and implements education opportunities sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital, targeted to referring physicians.
  • Implements marketing plans and programs targeted to physicians in their territory and represent Hospital at targeted physician conferences
  • Manages both data gathering and data reporting for assigned territory demonstrating effectiveness in driving referrals and revenue

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5 years’ experience in physician marketing, customer relationship management, or sales/account management
